Bright light source at live show/concern for sesnor damage?

Edit title: "Sensor" damage.

Friend ask me to video his live show, I'll be using a Sony camcorder.

Last time, (although filming on my own/wasn't asked), I was at their show with a camcorder and their portable setup had bright lights shooting towards/into the camera.

I don't recall if it involved any lasers, which I know aren't good, but you can see here on the bottom-left side of the screen at least what I know they definitely use for lights. (It's the same band, but not me filming this):

Last time, I stopped halfway through because I was concerned about potential sensor damage.

Before I express any reservations, I'll ask here, should I be concerned about this? Thanks.

Don't worry about it. That fixture isn't bright in the grand scheme of things, especially compared to the sun. I would only really worry about lasers. These aren't tube cameras, CMOS and CCDs can handle bright lights.

I wouldn't worry about those. those stage/DJ lights are all LED based fixtures nowadays.

Thanks for the informative replies, very much appreciated.
