Brief look at my latest music vid...

I've watched this video numerous times now...really excellent work and a cool song to boot! You've inspired me to shoot my next short in B&W :)
 
Very good music video... absolutely impressed over here... me and my buddy viewed it twice. You are definitely on the right track for your career. The music video had a certain emotional appeal that I'm sure was tied primarily to the slow motion, lighting and B&W.
 
Wow.. I think the 2nd comment said it the best.. It's not the camera that made that video look good.. It was you.. All of these comments about "wow, the HVX looks great" etc.. HA.. I've seen some really CRAPPY things shot with it and they RAG the poor guy.. not the camera.. so.. you get my point.. haha..

Solid Music video. I throughly enjoyed the music and the video aspect of it blew me away. Loved the lighting and overall composition. Thanks for posting this. Great music video!!
 
love this...fantastic style...HD looks amazing in B&W. I've been on the reduser.net for too long...keep forgetting how much really good work is being done with this camera.
 
I love it great work and great song! What color corectting technique did you use for the ballon. B&W looked great slow motion awesome as well what was your workflow for syncing audio to the slow motion.

Standard FCP color corrector. Just made sure to keep all reds out aside from the balloon and have the actors wear very plain colors.

And guys, seriously, thanks for the feedback. I've had more interest from these forums than I could have ever hoped for.

I'll be sure to keep you updated about my next music video that I'm shooting later this month (I might do a blog with pictures, etc.)

Great work Jeff! Very cool video. What were you using with the HVX for your dolly shots, I thought they came out really well.
