Brevis35 Test 2: Now with people!

Well, got another day of shooting in with the adapter and I just keep liking it more and more. The loss of light is almost none existant, and with a little tweaking I'm very happy with where the sharpness is. Took the camera with me to work and just shot everything and nothing so don't expect a whole lot of coherence..

Anyway, I'll let you guys judge for yourselves...

Color Correction!

Color Correction!

Your color correction is fantastic.
Did you switch from Vegas to Premiere?

I would love to have one of your Projects
to see what the heck you are doing...

Big Fan!

Thanks man.
I did edit this on PP2, but I wouldn't say I've switched. I use both, although I am warming up to the Adobe way of doing things..
Color correction was very mild, mostly creative white balancing and a little warming and cooling. The only major corrections were contrast/black level enhancments..

Other than that it's just a combination of Scene File 6, The Brevis and the magic that is PAL..

It's also worth noting that this clip was all shot without rails. It's a little shaky, but that's more to do with shaky hands than a shaky adapter. It actually feels rock solid railless with a 50mm lens on it...

what were your scene file settings for sharpness, etc.? I bought a brevis and its on its way, but i have to shoot the morning after i recieve it, so testing time will be nil.

Not recommended...

But Ok. Shot it Scene file 6, detail and v detail at 0, zoom 80 and mf 26...

Sigur Rós. Incredible.

Brevis35. Incredible.

If I had to pick one to own, Sigur Rós would be choice.

But damn nice footage.

How's Iceland anyway

You know, the off-rails look works for this footage Hrafn. I love this stuff. I'm also very impressed with how quickly you got great footage off your cam with the adapter. Kudos.
