The short answer is HVX >> Achromat >> Spacer >> BrevisDC said:Anyone care to post some detailed instructions on how to do this? I've been winging it but I'm sure someone out there has a method figured out. I know Cinevate has some instructions but if anyone would like to elaborate . . .
Yep, I've got it all attached and working. I guess I'm just looking to tweak it for perfection. I thought if others shared their particular setups, we could all learn.mjeppsen said:The short answer is HVX >> Achromat >> Spacer >> Brevis

Finally, if you don't already have access to the Cinevate Customer Private Forums, you should PM Dennis and request it. Plenty of manuals and guides available there. http://www.cinevate.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=15
I was seeing pretty significant vignetting with the Brevis CF1 + Sony HDV. The CF1L element seems to have fixed it, even on slow lenses. Well worth the cost, IMHODC said:Also, I only have the CF1 diffuser. I'm planning on getting the CF1L, which I hear is a significant improvement.

You might not have to with one of the CFL elements. I was going to bump my oscillation speed as well, until my new diffuser came in. CF1L allows me to use a much wider range of camera shutter speeds without seeing flicker.DC said:Also, I think I need to increase the oscilation speed a bit
Agreed, a very well-designed system.DC said:Truly an easy-to-setup and easy-to-use adaptor with a GREAT image (IMHO) . . .
Not at this time, sorry.DC said:BTW, I checked out that FreshDV site. I saw they have some SD leaders posted for download. Any similar leaders but in HD?
