Anyone in the US have one of these? I would order direct from cinevate, but it seems dumb to pay 42 bucks for shipping when I just need a 13 buck part.

Anyone have some directions on how to wire one up for myself?
 
Are you referring to the AA battery holders with a plug attached? I wouldn't even call it a 13 buck part, although that might be what Cinevate charges. If you're talking about what I'm picturing, it's really more like a $4 part.

You can make it even cheaper by going to Goodwill and buying an old power adapter with the right plug. They usually have a box full of power supply plugs for answering machines and whatnot. Take it, cut the wires, and wire the plug to that AA battery box from RadioShack
