This is a clip from a project I shot last week. The entire film takes place in a dream so I approached this as an improv piece. As such every shot in this clip was improvised without previous storyboarding and every shot is the first take. Additionally I filmed part of a scene with the lens unmounted, so the effects towards the end were accomplished in-camera.

It's about 3 minutes long. I intentionally posted a large file size so people can see how it looks in 720p. It's worth it.

Yes it is worth it... How much did everything cost you and how many p2 cards did you use?

I am putting my money together to get an hvx and a brevis.

The camera with accessories and lenses is about $14k. That includes a pro mattebox, follow focus, monitor, handheld rig, etc. I have two P2 cards, an 8 and a 16.

The actor's name is Cris Mertens.

Thanks for checking it out.
