dvx100B pal wdr35 canon fd lenses (35, 50, 85) home made dolly editing & cc in final cut express crappy you tube version only (sorry i'm getting my website soon): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNBUWWODMtY this is a breakdance event promo i did for friends last week, this my first shoot with wdr 35 & my 3rd one with dvx100B. i noticed my 35mm (f 3.5) needs way much light than the other lenses so i was a little too short with my 3 x 20€ spots -> so it's too grainy on most of the shoots with that lens. i hope you'll see better on the grabs. comments welcome http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/images/smilies/beer.gif edit: here's a quicktime (thanks to AdvanTech ;) ) : http://autoextasy.com/mad_dog/tentokillweb.mov

would love to see a higher quality quicktime. youtube beats it up way too much.

maybe you could put it up on Putfile or Stickypod, or someone can suggest a better place.

Not bad, I didn't care for the music. I'd add some top rock (dancing), not just power moves and power tricks. I'd also like to see a higher quality version. Are they using this demo to get into Battle of the year?

Very nice job on the lighting and feel of the video. The cardboard was a nice old school touch, but not good for spins. ;)

PS: I loved the grain, it gives the video texture!

quicktime: http://autoextasy.com/mad_dog/tentokillweb.mov thanks for the comments everybody! yeah too much power moves, it's all my fault when editing i didn't choose much standing dance moves. the purpose of the video is for the promoters website & to be screened before the battles. lighting was cheap but that 500w spots are still cool for that price :)

Great sequence. I liked the feel brought about by your lighting. It created an element of mystery. And the flickering was also an excellent added touch. It reminds me of Tony Scott's flick but adapted.

I'm impressed. Good one.

thanks for the feedback, about the lighting setup there's only one more light than the one you see, it's the same 500watt in front of the dancers but standing higher than the two others. i'll post some outside stuff with the wdr35 soon.
