I am selling a brand new, never used, still un-opened (purchased 5/6/11) Olympus 14-35. As you know, these are impossible to find. The catch, you have to buy my Olympus E-5 camera with the lens.
B&H price for the lens is $2,300 and for the camera it's $1,700. Total $4,000.
The lens is new, I have not even opened the box yet. The camera I have had for about 3-4 months, but it is barely used because I had the lens on order for that long, so it is in brand new condition.
The reason I am selling is because I sold my AF100, and this camera was meant to travel with the AF100.
But I have to say, if you have an AF100 and travel with it, taking the E-5 with you is a no-brainer, because you can use the same 14-35 lens on both (on the E-5 without an adapter, so the autofocus works incredibly fast, unlike with the GH2). This way you can take photos and videos with just one lens system. And don't let the 12.3 megapixels fool you, remember, this is a 4/3 imager, so in terms of density, that is equivalent to about a 24 megapixels on a full size imager, so it is sharp, very sharp.
