Brand New Muzzle Flashes.

I took a video off of the Modelgun.co.uk website, and did an experiment with some new flashes I have engineered. After looking at countless new and old flashes from popular movies, such as Terminator 2, True Lies, Die Hard, Aliens... Etc.

I have finally mastered the effect.

Original Footage Here.

Enjoy XD

note- i might do some full auto's in the future, just for fun.

Yeah I love your ego on youtube.

Nobody does better muzzle flashes than me Period.

Oh god. He's one of those types. :nads:

Pitty you couldn't sound mix to save your life.

Rofl, those sound files were done in 2 seconds to get the file done. I can do a good job with sound if I want. I was too lazy to remove the original, so I just layered some over top of the original.

btw SOE digital, care to share some examples of your work regarding submachine gun sound dubbing? If my clips are that bad... I'd like to see what good is.

the shell and smoke and sparks are all done as vfx...? It only looks like you addad a muzzle flash, and everything was real (blanks) fired on set. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What type of gun is that?
Love the fact that it spits out a shell. :)

The M93?

Its like a Beretta and a Glock.. then a Glock 18c and a Beretta M93 hehe

only the M93 is far cooler.

the Submachine Gun is a World War II M1A1 Thompson Submachine Gun.

These are Model Guns, they are made to fire Small charges, they do not fire blanks, as it takes a real gun to fire blanks.

These cannot be made to fire any real bullets, however they are very Very close to the real thing, close enough, that they are full metal and the megazines are infact real.

All they do is blow off a good amount of smoke and give a nice recoil effect.

You can get ammo that does not have sparks.

So really, to proclaim you have the best muzzle flashes is wrong.
What you meant to say was that modelguns.co.uk have the best muzzle flashes ;)

That's what I meant too...SOE Digital. The way the model guns fire, you don't even need muzzle flashes added in post.

The way curtis made it out to be (the best muzzle flash) I thought he did the sparks, smoke and blow-back as VFX.

Holy christ is this guy for real????

If you had actually watched the ORIGINAL video and read my post you would know that ModelGuns **DO NOT** have Flashes, they have to be added digitally.

Would you like me to spell it out for you too?

Oh and by the way, I'm still waiting for your lesson on Ballistics sound dubbing, since you seem to know exactly what sounds good and what sounds bad.

I swear theres a troll on EVERY forum I post on.

The sparks are a particular type of ammunition you can buy for modelguns. Almost all movie producers go with out sparks for some odd reason, I guess it doesn't really matter, as long as smoke is coming out the barrel and ejection port.... your good to go.

As most states and countries have banned the use of real fire arms and blanks on set, modelguns are practically what every major motion picture film company uses now.

The Desert Eagle featured on Modelguns.co.uk is Exactly the same desert eagle featured on The Matrix.
