UPDATE: I managed to get Vistek to take it back, so it's not available anymore. Thanks.

I bought this as a show special at Vistek's ProFusion tradeshow in Toronto in June, and can't cancel the order, so I figure I might as well pass the savings on to someone else...

It's the brand new Manfrotto 504HD tripod head, announced at this year's NAB. Here's Vistek's page on it - http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProVideoTripods/250696/manfrotto-504hd-video-head.aspx - I tried it out at the show and quite liked it, but have since chosen to go with the Libec H38 head for size/weight reasons (backcountry shooting). I would keep both heads if I could afford to! But I can't. :(

Price is what I ended up paying for it after taxes, $400 CAD, plus actual shipping costs if required. I haven't received it yet, but when it arrives I won't be using it. You'll be receiving a brand new product, unopened, for about $70 less than buying it from the store. If at all possible I would like to sell it to someone in Canada to keep things simple.

I was told mid-July when I bought it... and when I called last week they told me it would be "soon". I'll supposedly get an email as soon as it's in and instructions on how to pick it up. I think it's safe to assume it'll be here before it's widely available through retail, but I probably wouldn't gamble if you have a shoot coming up soon that you need it for...

I'll post an update as soon as I hear anything though.
