Brand New 5D Mark III Powering on when switched to "TV" mode

Hey all,

I just picked up a brand new 5D Mark III and i'm experiencing something strange. When the camera is set to off, the camera will power on when I switch to "TV" mode for some reason. Also when the switch is set to "on", if i'm in "TV" mode, I can't power it off when switching to the off position. The only way for me to power it off is to switch to a different shooting mode. Any ideas what may be causing this? Is this something within the menus? Please let me know, thanks.
 
I just tried mine and it doesn't do what yours does so I'm guessing it might be an issue with your camera. Maybe someone else might have a much better answer for you.
