hey guys,

Here are a few frame grabs from a feature we're currently still shooting for a film called 'Braille'.

Only the last two are graded... the warehouse stuff is all straight off the camera. We're still yet to shoot the action scenes. Thanks guys!

Those look very nice. I actually think I prefer the ones without any grading. I wouldn't have guessed that they were straight grabs.

Hey Man, That looks bloody awesome. In fact I'm looking for a feature to screen next year at the film festival...

Keep up the good work

cool.

question though, what's the best way to get screen grabs? is there a way to do it straight out of FCP? or is it best to do it after you've exported it as a quicktime file and just do a print screen?

nice grabs, I'd have to sat that I like the tunnel one and the second close up of the mans face the best. I also like the 2.35:1 aspect, my favorite.

Cant wait to see some footage. post when you get some.

Yeah thanks guys, we've only started shooting it so we don't have quite enough footage for a trailer just yet.

And all that was shot with the standard HVX lens. No adapters, just the basic camera. We are waiting for an M2 to arrive though. Although I only plan to shoot the drama scenes with the M2 and all the action with the standard lens with an wide angle adapter.

Thanks guys, as soon as I get enough footage for a trailer I'll get it up here.

I agree with the other posts...looking really good!

What is the synopsis for your storyline? Looks intriguing!

Stuff looks great !

The external shots, are they just using available light e.g the lights in the tunnels are regular lights and not replaced with higher glowing lights? Was the street scene available light or did you have additional lights set up?

Whats your settings for the external shots? [tunnel and street]

Thanks!

Yeah the external shots are all available lighting with +3 gain or maybe even no gain...

As for the grade, only boosted the contrast, and a tiny little green in the last pic, thats it. (it's only a basic grade at the moment, we'll be doing a full grade once the film is edited).

As for the films story, It's a heist film. They're not breaking into a bank, not a vault.... but a prison.

Thanks for the comments guys!
