Hi,

Does anyone know where I can order this battery in US? The web search resulted in only 2 vendors. BH photo is out of stock. After ordering from preferredphoto.com, they called and asked me to upgrade the battery's internal cell, which just seemed bogus.

I am also looking for a good vendor to buy Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8G ED. BH is out of stock on this one, too. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Stay away from Preferred. They go by a number of names, all of which can be read about here:

I find resellerratings.com invaluable in steering me away from shady vendors.

Thanks for the suggestions. Showcase is also out of stock, and I can't find the product from the albacinetech. I guess there's a general outage on the next few things I need to buy for my EX-1, which includes the BP-U60 battery, Nikon 17-35mm, and Nikon 24-70mm.

Yes, the resellerratings.com is great. I'm starting to use it every time when I need to order from vendor I don't know.

Same price @ B&H :-(
I want 'Chinese version', for $30 from ebay, like I used to have for my Z1 and A1
:-)

Thanks Scott. I found the item and ordered from the NY store. Amazing. They are the friendliest NY vendor I've dealt with. Highly recommended. :)
