Hey guys,
I just finished producing a music video parody of the new Backstreet Boys song/video "Incomplete". I just wanted to show my parody off to you all, and hear your thoughts. Go here:

My Boy Band Parody

I highly suggest you watch the original video first, so you can get the full comedy of my parody, and you can find the original here:

Original Backstreet Boys Video "Incomplete"

I'd love to hear what you think of my parody, so let me know. It was shot with the DVX-100a, and yes, there is some magic bullet in there. Thanks for watching. Peace.

Hey, let me be the first to say that that was a good video! Even though it was a parody, you had some great shots and it was very scenic at certain points. I was a little disappointed you didn't do anything with fire like they did in the real video! But smashing the stuffed seal sort of made up for it. Great job!

"I wan't to club you like a baby seal"...Too funny.
Like Kyle said you had some great shots and I thought you did a really good job with MB getting close to the original look.
(I think you need a disclaimer that no stuffed baby seals were actually injured during this filming.)
Great work, keep it up.

Thanks! I would have loved to use fire, I'm a pyro maniac at heart, but sadly we had to jump two barbed wire fences to get to the location, and I doubt that the authorities would have been too pleased to catch us tresspassing AND setting fire to things. I did do a couple of shots with digital fire in After Effects, but I cut them because it just looked too cheesy. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hey
This was good stuff. It seemed like the shots of the keyboard guy were kind of dark. Was this done on purpose. I couldnt see the original for some reason. My internet kept closing when I went to watch it.

Hi there,

Enjoyed it, very well done.

One comment though if I may regarding sound.

I would EQ the voices a bit to make 'em slightly "fatter", and maybe a bit of reverb, then will blend in a lot more with the track.

THE VIDEO PART IS GREAT!

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input so far. I appreciate all the kind comments and the advice! Have only 5 people watched this thing? I'd sure love to know what more of you thought. I love these boards. There's no other place like 'em on the web! Peace.

Nice work with the video, lots of good composing of images. Really nice to see what people can get out of the camera.

Loved the seal :)
