I shot the majority of the short in the 24H mode and 720p60 SH mode for the slow motion shots. For the non-action sequences I used a shutter speed of 1/40 and 1/80 for the action sequences at 24p for effect. I used three prime Canon FD lenses, the 17mm f/4, 28mm f/2.8, and 50mm f/1.4. Let me know what you think.

There are some things I like and some things that I don't so much, but overall good job.

Things I liked:
A lot of the shots and their framing. Especially the bag swinging in front of her and some of the slow dolly shots.
The fact that she obviously knows what she's doing in a training room and you can tell she's really training hard.

Things I feel like could have been better:
Music. For me it didn't set the right tone, but that could just be me. I would have liked something that built throughout the piece and was a bit more dramatic.
Color grade. I would have liked more contrast, and maybe a higher key lighting to the scene, and the image looked too green to me, but again, may just be my taste.
A little more story. I don't know what she's training for, what her motivation is, all I know is that there is a clock and she's training. Is she frustrated from losing? I did notice the title belt in the background of one of the shots. Is she scared of losing her title? Is she confident because of her drive and determination?

Just a few little things to think about, perhaps on your next piece. Overall, this is a nice little video. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, I appreciate the feedback. I would have liked to have a higher key as well, but I didn't have anything other than two small LED panels that don't have enough output, and for a lot of the training I was shooting at about f/5.6. As far as the color, I didn't edit this on a calibrated monitor so it might be a little off.

The story wasn't really all that much, it opens with her ending a round and resting before the last round she has to do, so the clock is counting down the rest period. The action/training can be seen as either a flashback of the training or the next round she has to do. I just don't like doing quick test videos without any sort of narrative.
