Boxing film - DVX short clip

It was shot 24pa, 250 shutter speed, iris open and custom scene settings.

The film is narrative. I think.... lol, jk
 
Very good look. I agree it's a little dark, but I would swear it was shot on higher end model cam and not DVX. Not knocking the DVX, but still, takes skill to make it look like that. Nicely executed Coffee!

Thanks uncle. I've been working hard on finding a style to my image so that this film looks attractive. I can't wait to finish shooting the last three peices and editing it so that I can begin the CC. That's when the fun really begins for me. :cheesy:

dvx100? are you sure this is not a joke? :) if it's not, it's one of the 3 best dvx100 footage i ve ever seen.

looks pretty cool, how many people do you have in the audience? is it me or does the audio sound like it distorted on some screams?
 
ah coffe you and me love the shutter speeds i personally think thats what makes it more film like epsically with the 35 adaptors attached. I really like this footage buddy I hope to see more soon. just need more light :)
 
Have you ever seen Micheal Mann's movie "Ali"? Great movie in my opinion. However, I like the visual style your going for much better. Very impressive Coffee, well done! :)
 
the fighting looks good. is it supposed to be a smoker(in house fight) or a card?cause i see their wearing big gloves 14 or 16 oz. and two different colors and makes which wouldn't be the case for a full fight card (a certain number of fights and rounds) and the trainer is on the outside apron which wouldn't be allowed and there's no tape on the red gloves strings which are reyes gloves (which i personally like) but aren't allowed in north american bouts because they have a seam on the outside edge that can cut. i'm sorry i'm such a dick about minor details which most people will not see, your project really looks good:thumbup: :beer:
