Bower Canon Adapter

Does anyone know if you can control aperture with this adapter?

If you can I honestly might go for an FS100 with the Canon 17-55 and the Tokina 11-16.

So far I liked its image far more than the AF100, it just looks more filmic.

What I really want is an EPIC-S, but we all know the drill.

Just wished Canon would come out with their AF100/FS100 competitor already.

They can't be that stupid, they would sell a ****load of lenses.

Also I believe that Red Rock has one coming out as well, but does not interface with the camera but has a separate IRIS control interface.

Here's a test of the Kipon EOS to micro 4/3 adapter on the AF100, courtesy of Stray Angel Films.

Seems to work w/o vignetting, except for the segment shot with the 50mm lens stopped down and the adapter wide open, which is very interesting, but seems to defeat the purpose of having an adjustable iris adapter in the first place.

Yes, but keep in mind that test is with 50mm and 85mm lenses intended for full frame put on an AF100. Telephoto lenses and smaller sensors tend to be less likely to suffer from vignetting. I'd be careful with that adapter on a larger-sensor FS100 and wider lens in the 16-50mm range.
