Bouncing/shaking with glidecam

Hi all,

I use the glidecam HD-2000 with my fs700. It's worked out pretty well in the past. I am currently on tour shooting a documentary and have been using it every day. Looking through my footage now and I notice there's this constant shaking going on in almost all my shots. As though the camera+glider are bouncing. It's happened in the past but seldomly and not this noticable. I'm sure plenty of people here are familiar with the glidecam hd 2000 and 4000 and gliders in general, maybe someone knows what's going on? Here is an example of something I shot the other day: https://youtu.be/oa78FMVAFQ4
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you can operate 'jitter' is usually caused by some poor mechanicals. The whole rig must be SOLID.

Is the camera locked down
Is your front element wobbly
Cheap lensapter with play.
Mic bouncing around in a shock mount
Play in the gimbal
Bottom masses poorly secured.
IS on

??

Camera is to heavy for the HD2000. I have a FS7/XR4000 and with the sigma 18-35 it's just too much even with additional counter weights. When I used the FS700 with the same setup no bounce. Your setup is at the limit of weight. Use a lighter lens with IS if possible.
