bought samsung 1tb evo for Odyssey 7Q, anything I need to know?

I bought the drive, now I need to take off the casing, I also bought the hard-drive 'kit' with those little tabs. Anything I need to know about taking off the casing of the HD and screwing on those tabs? Seems straight forward, but I'm shooting today and can't really screw this up.

Also, I did a firmware upgrade to my odyssey I think in Dec 2015, so i'm assuming that one would work fine.

yeah I see that now duh!, under a lot of pressure, so now I need to format the HDD, anything special there? The odyssey says it's not formatted, so I'm wondering if I need to do anything different there...

I bought 1 samsung - the plan is to do most of my shooting filling up the 1tb and when I go slow mo- ssd2 that's only 250gb will kick in...
 
think I answered my own question, I had to format the drives and then it kept wanting to record to slot 2 first - so I then ejected just slot 2, recorded which worked, then put 2 back in and it still chose to capture on slot 1 first. Man I today feels like I constantly have a gun to my head!
 
Don't worry, it's OK! I believe that the Odyssey always records to slot one if two drives are in the unit, to switch drives you need to do a safe eject and proceed to insert the drive you want to record on into slot 1.
