Opened the box and the on-board mic is facing diagonal down. The mic picks up almost no sound unless I crank the levels all the way up. Is there something I can do to fix this myself or will I have to send it in to get it fixed.
It turns out the mic just popped out during shipping. I unscrewed the screws and popped it back in before screwing it back together. It now picks up about -18db from people a few feet from the camera which I'm told is normal for an onboard mic.
