Bought HVX200 Used, is it PAL or NTSC?

I'm a complete beginner (from the US) and I recently purchased an HVX200 on craigslist. I tested it out, and all seemed well. Obviously I didn't know exactly what to look for.

Now, upon further inspection, I'm sensing that it may be a European camera, which could give me some issues as I already have another NTSC camera shooting in 24p. Is there an easy way to tell whether this HVX is PAL or NTSC formatted?

The Model number is AG-HVX200t (not HVX200p) if that is useful at all.

Thanks, and sorry for the ridiculously stupid question.

Maybe a better question would be... what does the "T" mean in HVX200T? I know that 200P is the US version, and 200E is the UK version.

hvx200t is a gray market camera..if it has 24p then it is the ntsc version/..Hope this helps..

Thanks, that definitely helps. Good news and bad, I suppose. Gray market isn't the type of camera I was hoping to get (on craigslist, what did I expect?) but it looks like it'll shoot 24p.

This is something you should've known before writing out the check. I'd do more research before spending thousands on a grey market camera next time...or just buy from an authorized dealer.

It's something I wish I had been able to figure out while trying out the camera--obviously I'm no expert. But I'm more worried about whether the camera works and will do what I want, rather than whether it's a grey market camera or not. Like I said before, I bought it on craigslist, so I wasn't ever under the impression that the camera would come with a warranty.

So far, it's working out just fine. Used it for a shoot today and I'm very happy with the results.
