"bottom feeder" trailer

dude that looks funny as hell....a toughguy 'curb your enthusiasm'

But whats with the pretending its a hollywood blockbuster, as the trailer was beginning all I noticed was the fact it WASN'T a Hollywood blockbuster...it drew my attention to all the negative things...like the fact it's not coloured...not really shot in an arty way, its only as you watch on you realise its supposed to be like that.

dont dress a fly on the wall mockumentry up as thriller...it doesn't work IMO

why not do what American Splendour did and have your character introduce it (he's awesome) just have him sat in a room ranting or something, or just get on with the fly on the wall stuff, no silly "in a world" voice, i think you could do something smarter, or more fitting.

that's just my opinion anyway....it looks good.

by the way, I'll probably only like it if he turns out to be a good guy...i.e I'm assuming he just looks a bit like a racist meathead and keeps getting misunderstood?

If he turns out to be a racist, i'm out. :p

hey adam, thanks for your input.

I agree, its all unartsy, and stuff.. and very hollywoodish like when its not.

The movie was edited quickly and the trailer was made last minute. The beginning of the trailer makes people think one thing, and then gives off another. It's kinda purposely done so it gives different vibes. no style, no creativity, I let the actors do their thing.

The movie is about a guy who just hates the world.. its kind of a true story. hes no racist.. haha.. where you get racist from? because he's yelling at the indian people at the mart?

The movie had good reviews and feedbacks, its a 38min short now and in May it will be shot to be a feature.. fun fun..

It looks interesting. I happen to know a couple of guys just like him. I didn't seem to think it was going to be a blockbuster. It seemed to be just what it was. do you have distribution, or is this straight to dvd?

well the exec producer is doin all that.. but its only 38 mins and we're shooting the final hour to make it a feature length, and then will think of distribution and stuff.

i liked it, he doesn't appear to be a nasty person at all though, he has a 'nice' face, just mho

I absurdely love this movie. It must be totally fun to shoot it. Great performances. I assume the guy is directing himself, i'm i correct?
I have to agree with Adam, cure a little bit more the photography, some style can amplify the drama relieving the actors from a constant edgy perfomance.

yes the main actor is the director as well.. he wanted the film to be mainly actor performance oriented. As I sat w him w the shot list.. he didnt really care for much style .. he wants it to look very real.

he is a nice guy.. the most honest person I know.. took us to an italian restaurant for lunch break. and for his opening night @ tribecca cinemas I repaid him w/ a 200 bottle of wine.. as respect..
