I should have my HVX200 by the end of April. May 6th is best (and that's how I voted), but I am planning to attend whatever date is selected.

I would say the 3rd. It is far enough away from NAB that I will have time to let that sook in. But it is also on a weekday. And I know for some people that dose not make any since. But if you look at hotel rooms on a middle of a week day after a big convention vs. any Saturday it is night and day. Instead of paying $200+ a nigh you can find one for $80 so that is something to think about.

I agree, May 3rd will save everyone a couple hundred dollars. I hope the date is set soon, so we can get the lower airfares. ; )

Dang, I forgot about hotel costs on a weekend. Can I change my vote from May 6 to May 3rd?

Well, May 3rd is fine too if it's in the afternoon, I have class from 8:30 to 11:30 (usually 11:15 though :)).

So, do you have a location selected yet?

I would but if you saw how my 60+ year old German film teacher swallows the souls of the students that are late then you'd probably make every meeting in the afternoon from now on. :costumed-smiley-047 Pity dem foos!

Don't ask what he does if, God forbid, they miss a class!:nads:

I don't think your teacher is going to have a prob. Tell him you are getting to work with people that have shot stuff for Steven Spielberg’s Munich.

Hotel Rates for May 3rd

Treasure Island $129
Paris $140
Excalibur $99
MGM Grand $99
New York New York $129
Curcis Curcis $60
Hot Wire.com $40-$319 All on strip or around some in henderson

All Rooms are subject to change, and all prices are without tax

so there you go hope to give you some idea. I will be staying at the MGM it works for me.

Hey Jarred may I suggest not opening registration till right before NAB. This dose not affect me personally, I already have a hotel for NAB and will get one for this. But I could see how it could affect some finically. And by holding off for another 2 to 3 weeks, per say might help people get there finances in order. Just a suggestion, wouldn’t want someone who wanted to come not be able to make it because they have to pay for NAB right now and will not have the finances for another week or so. Just an idea.

I hear ya, its a good sug. but i dont think we will be selling out as fast this time so there should be seats open till the end, as LA is a little different because of just the concentration of members in the area.

Anyways, we are locking down May 3rd as the day in Vegas.

Sounds Good. When can we register and is there anything that will be different on this one? Venu? do you need any local help? Gear? pm if you need anything and Let us know.
