bogen 535 legs

Bogan is a good value for the money. I had that tripod in an aluminum version. Nothing fancy but a good workhorse. That type tripod is best suited for still work though. If you plan to shoot HD than you should consider a tripod with a leveling ball mount. The reason is when you pan your camera has to stay level with the horizon and the advantage of a ball mount is it's quick and easy to correct for all directions. With the 535 type you will have to level by adjusting the length of the legs. Doable, but slow and frustraiting.
If budget is a factor look on ebay and fine some nice used gear.
