I just bought the tripod set up off of eBay and received it today. Sorry if I'm not as knowledgeable as some of you who own these. It's the 503 head not the HDV model with 3190 legs, silver ones. Now the pan handle is a telescopic one, but is missing the screw to lock it. Someone is not getting good feedback. Does anyone know of a replacement part for that? Also the legs spread but I have been trying to get them to lock at lower levels. I don't want to break it but it looks like they don't. Is that what I would use the optional ground spreader for? Or even the mid-level spreader? Thanks!
