Bogen 501 Quick Release Mounting Tray

We have a 501 Fluid Head, and use the QuickRelease tray with the HVX200.

We also have a SpiderBrace.

I don't like unattaching the Quick Release tray and then screwing the HVX200 directly into the Spiderbrace.

Does anybody make a companion attachment that can be fastened to the SpiderBrace and will accept the HVX200 with the QuickRelease tray?

Went to Manfrotto's site, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

How about one for the 516. I'd love to put one on my steady cam but I can't seem to find one for that mounting plate.

That assembly will work with the Bogen 501?

yes, that adapter we have has the SAME Quick Release plate as the 501 (and 503 by the way, in case you upgrade). You'd just have to find a way to attach the adapter to the spiderbrace; but that should be possible somehow, I am sure.

Yes, it has two 1/4" and one 3/8" thread on the bottom.
