body rig for sony f3

Looking for a rig to mount the f3 onto a person to get that requiem for a dream look. Looked into the Doggicam system which we may rent but the shoot is next week so seeing if there are any alternatives?

If you wanted to roll your own, I would think any decent grip could probably rig something up with a couple of short arms, knuckles, baby plate, gaff tape and few items from home depot like a tool belt with suspenders.

In a pinch this might work. Don't know if I'd trust my camera on it though.

Id just rent it. You probably dont have time to consider other options.

Id also consider a lighter camera, Fs100 or Nex5n.

Certainly dont DIY one for the F3 - the forces it can put on the talent can be hospital inducing

If you want a dream like shot consider a fisheye and going hand held. Its surreal.

thanks guys. all good advice. got the 7d rig to work. will look into fs100 since same weight about as 7d. but also may go 5d to get full frame so i can get a wider image.
