BNC Connector and Hyperdeck shuttle

I bought this BNC Female to DIN 1.0/2.3 RG-59 SDI Cable - 1 from an online retailer. The Din fits the Hyperdeck shuttle but the BNC will not go into the AF100 BNC connector.
It's the same size. What was I supposed to get?. BNC Female to DIN 1.0/2.3 RG-179 Cable - 1?

I was annoyed about that when I got my Hyperdeck too. Just head to Radio Shack (or anywhere that carries video and audio wires) and grab a BNC male-to-male barrel connector (both ends of the barrel should have the turning lock). Slap that on the end and you'll be good to plug into your AF. Happy shooting!

Thanks alot for that.

Actually, would you mind recommending one even in PM?.

Can I also ask, do you have Hyperdeck 2?. Regarding the AVID MXF file way of recording, how much recording time would an 180gb SSD be able to store?.
Can those AVID files be used in Premiere Pro CS5?.

Any connector like this one here would work: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/517808-REG/Mace_M_BNC_M_BNC_M_BNC_M_BNC_Male_BNC_to.html

As for recording time, I have a 240GB hard drive and I've not had the opportunity to max it out yet, but I've heard it's around 100GB/hour of footage if you're recording to DNxHD.

I edit in FCP7 though so I just record the DNxHD files in a Quicktime wrapper (added with the most recent firmware update) and it works with no problems. I imagine Premiere wouldn't have any issue either, but I don't know for certain. Hope that helps!
