Hi guys, I have been using BMCC since it is released and still couldnt find a good alternative in similar price range for color science. I have been checking out FS5 for some time, but couldnt find any sample SLOG3 files to download and test grading. Does any body has links or can upload any sample (especially for skin color and landscape for dynamic range).

And also if anybody have any Blackmagic camera and FS5 and make a small couple of seconds test shots with each of them and upload them I will very glad:).

you might be able to get some sample footage on the FS5 here http://www.zsyst.com/sony-fs5-sample-footage/

I think BMCC is good companion for the Sony F camera's, but speaking in terms of "versus" they are two different beasts.

Sony offers more versatility in my opinion, but I do like the image quality of the BMCC plenty and find it has characteristics that are just easier to get than when trying to finagle out of Sony.

good luck with your research and decision.
cheers,
