I am ordering some connectors and cabling to make SDI cables for our Hyperdeck (these will also work for the Red camera) and I figured while I am making these cable I could make a few extras if people wanted any custom made.
Because they are custom I can't really say how much each one would be but here is a basic breakdown:
DIN 1.0/2.3 (Hyperdeck side)
Straight - $7
-or-
Right angle - $9
Cable (Belden 1855A)
Per foot $1
In black, red or blue
Optional black expandable tubing (for protection)
Per foot $0.50
(I do have some other colors, just not that much, so ask me if you want anything specific)
BNC
Male Neutrik $2.50
Female Amphenol $3.50
Custom printed white heat shrink (1 line either side)
$3.00 per cable
Labor
$10-20 per cable
I anyone is interested let me know. I would not ask for payment until I am ready to ship the cables. Paypal preferred but we can take credit cards.
If any one is wondering about my cable making ability... I come from a custom AV integrator background and have worked on every possible cable you can think of, I have worked on many large projects but just one example is that I wired the Kennedy Center Opera Hall's amp racks. I will also offer a money back offer. If your not happy with it send it back and I will refund your money (you pay return shipping).
