BM Hyperdeck and ProRez

BM announced today that you can download ProRez for the HyperDeck Studio but sadly not for the HyperDeck Shuttle. It's a free upgrade.

It is really frustrating to have no ProRes on the Shuttle. I mean if it is able to record DNxHD, it could probably record ProRes. Do I miss something, like hardware incompatibility ? BlackMagic, please give us ProRes on the Shuttle !!!

The Hyperdeck Studio is, to a large extent, a transfer station. The addition of ProRes I would think is for transcoding from uncompressed off your Shuttle to your preferred flavour of ProRes on ingest or DNxHD for that matter.
