Blurred Image, Please!

I'm trying to capture a blurred image that suggests great speed or acceleration, and I'm looking for suggestions on how to do this.

Do I need to go into Syncro Scan to do this?

I did this about 2 weeks ago on my FS100. Did it exactly as tacotim described. 1fps undercranking. Shutter speed of 1/3 a second or so. Worked great! I used it on a road full of
cars.....taillights and headlights and so on, but it could work with a lot of things.

Try the Motion Blur plugin in After Effects.

I was just going to suggest trying it in post. that way if you don't like the effect you still have your original footage. up to you.
