Blur and 35mm adaptater

HI,

I shot with a ps-technik adaptater and Nikon lens (85 and 55mm) during two days. I hadn't problem on my first day (inside scenes) but on my second (outside), my camera (HVX-200 mode: 720P25 with P2) often passed on quite strange macro mode... at this moment i was unable to focus on far things. I switched off the cam take off the battery wait few secondes and after that it worked for a time and did the same thing after...???? What is really wired is that my camera wasn't on auto mode everything was on manual...

Some one have an idea or a reason for this problem ?

This will happen when the focal flange distance is not true, probably needs to be recalibrated.
 
I did it some monthes ago...?

And when i didn't put the mini35 everything was ok... the focus was good.
If the camera is not calibrate, why did it worked generaly and unfocuse suddenly?

He was referring to the calibration of your 35mm adapter. I don't think your HVX is the problem. Set your 35mm lens to infinity focus and see whether the objects in the far distance are in focus, which it probably wont be since you say you couldnt focus on far away objects at all.
 
If none of thats the problem then you might have touched the auto focus button under the auto focus switch. I have done that from time to time and have to reset.
 
I think that there's a problem with the camera not with the mini 35 because generaly there's a good focus and it's the camera which turn on a strange macro mode... The mini35 didn't moved at all. I tried to reset the cam but it didn't change anything. It went back on a good focus when i remove the battery from the cam some minutes. Maybe there was to many lenses and things in front of the HVX's lens and its motors were tired... Something like that, if you understand my english...

wathing my rushes, I realize that i used talky walkies and it caused diagonals stripes on my pictures when i talked, maybe there's a link between those problems...You don't think so?
