Blue lines, settings

Hey,

I bought DVX100B (pal) and have questions..
There are small blue lines over some edges and I cant get those off, how I can get those off? Those lines are green if there is some green object..

Which option settings would do best quality (no noise and sharp look)?
(I mean those knee, gamma, detail settings..)
I got pretty soft look on every preset.. if object is close its sharp, but it looks soft when shooting some outdoor long distance shots..

I havnt filmed alot with this cam, but almost in every shot there is some noise. In outdoor and indoor shots (with 0 Gain). Is there any good option to get this noise off?

Overall this cam feels like right cam for me. That 25p looks great and those film look presets gives nice look. But only problem is soft look, blue lines and that noise in some shots. If there would be someway to get sharper/more detailed picture and no noise, this would be just right cam for me.

Please help me how to get that perfect image!

Turn your detail setting down, for one thing. That second picture shows what looks like edge enhancement artifacts; try around -3 for detail level.

Thanks for infos,

Thanks for infos,

How about that blue/violet stuff on that tobacco box? What causes that and how to get rid of it?

This blue/violet line problem seems to be almost in every shot, but not so clearly visible all the time..

Hey,

I cant get more sharper look than this pic shows. And I can get same sharpness, colors with my 500$ handycam. I dont know what have I done wrong, but I cant get better quality..

I used these in that shot:
Detail level: -2
V Detail Level: 0
Detail Coring: 0
Chroma Level: +1
Chroma Phase:0
Color Temp: +1
Master Ped: -5
A. Iris Level: -2
Cinelike V Gamma
V Detail Freq: Thin

It's chromatic abberation, and it has to do with a number of factors, not the least of which being the poor color space of DV.

You can help the issue in Vegas by using a Chroma Blur.
