Blue lines at the bottom of the screen

I just recently bought a new dvx100a and it works fine when in 60i.
But,when I switch over to 24P it keeps having these blue lines flicker at the bottom of the screen. I though it just might have been an lcd problem,but I transferred my footage onto my PC and it still showed. Everything else about the camera works great except for this little annoyance.
I tried looking through the forums,but could not find anything like this. I know it maybe a chip problem,but just checking here first.

Does this also occur in 24PA? Have you tried resetting the camera?

Yes to both those questions. I've tried white balancing,resetting,what ever I could think of.

How much do you think the repair on it would be? (I know I could just ask a repair place,but I'm looking for a quick answer)

Does it even really have anything to do with the heads if it's showing up on the lcd WHILE I'm shooting too? =\

You sure it's new?, cause they're not making 100a s anymore. And I'd be really suprised if somebody was that overstocked they still had new ones.

Ahh,no it's not new. I don't know why I even typed that. It's used and seems to be in great condition. With the exception of my 24P problem.

No idea what the repair bill would be. But there's no camera setting which could be "wrong" to produce that problem, so there must be something awry.
