Blue bar on some clips

Hi

I imported my clips from DVX to Vegas. I shot in Letterbox mode, 24ap. On just two clips I have a blue bar showing. Sorry for the very rookie question but does anyone know what it is? I really like the two clips and the only thing I can think off is that I will need to input into AE and edit each frame.

Thank you

It may not be a function of Vegas. How does the footage look out of the camera? Blue stripes are sometimes associated with dirty heads.

While my comment may be even more unqualified, I did see the same behavior on some recent 25p (I use PAL) footage.

It was a blue vertical double-line on the left edge. I have had no trouble with 50i footage. ???

Quick question: does the blue bar show up when you simply play the video from the camera (say, connected to a television)?

If so, you can rule out Vegas as the culprit. Otherwise, I've never heard of this happening in Vegas before.
