Blown Pixel in Live Mode

I have a blown pixel in live mode and it shows up in my video.

I noticed it on my friend's black shirt that in the video.

Is this a common problem with the 5d or should I call Canon or what?

i had a red pixel in live view when i first got my t2i and someone told me to do this:

take off the lens and put the body cap on. go into the menu where it has the sensor cleaning option
select MANUAL and let it do its thing for 30 seconds or so. turn off the camera, turn it back on, and *hopefully* the pixel is fixed!
