Blowin' Coke???

Powdered milk has been used on a few shoots I've been on. It's gross if you need to snort it in a take, but it works.

Just make sure that your actors see you do a line of it before they will have to...you should never make one of them do something that you would not do first!

The things actors have to do for roles.

Oh, and the things Directors make them do.....

The computer vacuum thing is a good idea, if you can pull it off. Take it from a medical guy, powdered sugar in the nose/sinuses is a good way to develop a nasty sinus infection. There are aerobic microbes up there that we breath in every day, and a good infusion of glucose coupled with the enzymes floating around is a banquet for them. As much as I hate to say it, when it comes to infection encouraging substances, the coke would be safer. Now, not saying coke is safe, it has it's down sides too. I remember this one time back in the 80's.....

On my first short, I had a number of baggies filled with laundry detergent. The bad guy was supposed to pretend to snort some as a test. He accidentally snorted some detergent, and that was a mistake. Funny though.

I wish I had my camera on. I'd have stock footage of someone spewing coffee on their laptop.
