Blow up best settings for HVX

Hi guys Im planning to shot on the HVX with blow up to 35mm film in mind.
What are the best settings to do this with the camera? Is it 1080/24PA or 720/24?.. or is there a link in this forum or elsewhere on this topic where I can be redirected?just that...thanks

You can search the HVX forum under 'filmout'. PS - Is your intention to shoot for a film festival ? Many festivals accpet a video master. If its really good, a distributor will make your film copies for you...

Very true. Most festivals from Sundance to Cannes and everything in between now screen either on HDCam, or Digibeta, or some digital format, in addition to film.

Interesting to note, the HVX-made feature discussed in this thread was shot 720p... and is getting a wide theatrical release this fall.

Yes, and DV films have gotten wide release too, but 1080/24p will give you about 20% rez gain (IIRC) and much more mildly compressed footage.
