First of all let me start by saying thanks for taking the time to click this thread (I know short's don't get a lot of love here haha).

Many of you probably recognize me as I've been on and off these boards for the better part of 3 years and have learned SO much from all of you guys. When I first signed up here I was looking for a writer to help me complete my vision for a more "suspenseful, realistic" zombie film. Ultimately I found a great guy here who did a fantastic job helping with the script but when it was completed, I found 2 problems.

1: I felt incomplete..I felt like I had paid someone to do something that I felt I could do if I just put my mind to it, I didn't like that feeling at all. The script was about 90% my ideas, which made me feel like I had the potential, I just had to learn the skill to put the two together!

2: Second, and most importantly..I found a lot of potential investors were turned off by my lack of experience. Not only had I never produced anything before, but I hadn't even completely written the one piece I was trying to produce.

These two problems lead to what I'm about to show you all now. This short film was something I wrote myself (the first thing actually) and something I decided to produce myself as well (with the help of indiegogo and some very VERY supportive friends). I know it's not technically perfect...(who's first film ever is right? lol)..but I'm proud of what myself and most importantly the awesome team I was surrounded with were able to pull off. I'm going to be taking the link down soon, at least for a while, while I enter it into some festivals...but I wanted to post it here, as a thank you to all the people who have GREATLY influenced this production...honestly without the chance google search, and finding DVXUSER, I don't think my dream would've ever come true..so without further ado, I give you "Blood Thirsty" enjoy!

From my phone so brief -- completely enjoyable. The voice track sounded pretty dirty on the guy in the opening scene. Also for a short it started kind of slow. I would have been happier if **** kicked off when he first went outside to check on his neighbor. Him running around the complex took too long for my ADD. Fun overall tho

Agree with the voice track, the mic picked up some sick buzzing from the cpu that we really didn't notice until editing, kind of a pain but hey..you live and you learn (or shoot and you learn?)...I'm very glad you enjoyed it though, and thanks for replying!

I agree with Brian,

There are a lot of good moments here. I'd definitely say that a shorter version could have a lot more impact, can trim a lot of the fat out in dialogue etc.

The girl was a fair actress, mostly believable so good job casting, sir.

Also, it's always a lesson learned so don't fret too much. Just keep on to the next one.
