F3: Blind Courage - Short Film

Paul, what was your approach on coloring this? Also, were you filtering with just the internal ND's? Very nice! The F3 in talented hands lives strong.

Thank you. The color grading was done in Davinci. I used a F35slog to 709a Lut created by Dennis Hingsberg as a starting point for the 8bit internal Slog codec (hadn't picked up a 10bit recorder yet) - and added an additional node or two to adjust color and contrast to taste. The interior market and cooking shots had some uncontrolled mixed lighting but it holds up pretty well. I think some credit for the overall look goes to my personal set of poor mans cine glass - the pentax smc takumar lenses. Flawed, slow, affordable, and with good character. I think we make a good match.
I used the F3's built in ND filters with no other filtration. Cheers!
