Hey Guys, hopefully someone can clear this up for me. I shot a high school musical in 24p, 1/24 shutter. The well lit characters look amazing in 24p but the black curtain behind them looks pixelated and jumpy. In the future is there a better way to film a lit stage production and still have the film look without the pixelated blacks?
Im already thinking about shooting at 30 so I can pan quickly without as much strobing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
