I have a Blackmagic Video Assist 5" Recorder/Monitor. This has mini SDI in/out, HDMI in/out and each one loops through. I have used this for recording and livestreaming PowerPoint presentations while filming corporate conferences and it works like a charm. It records to regular inexpensive SD cards (1080p) which is much more manageable than SSD trays like the Atomos ones do. The screen is clean and free of scratches. Everything works as it should, I just upgraded to the 4K version last week.
