Blackmagic Studio Camera

[groveChuck]

You thought the URSA was cool with the world's biggest viewfinder, this has the same screen...
And tell me couldn't use this (BMSC?) with a B4 lens!

Definitely not a filmmaking setup, but for multi-cam and broadcast, why not???

The 4K version ships in June for $2995
HD 1060p60 ships now for $1995

Yeah, yeah, yeah... but you know you want to use one at a game, Terry!

The very first thing I thought of was that you can't angle the viewfinder independent of the camera body. For sports, that isn't good in most instances.

You could use a separate viewfinder and attach it to your viewfinder...I mean camera.

No, thanks.

I work NBA games and college sports for networks who supply the production trucks with the necessary triaxial and/or fiber optic-cabled cameras.

Now, that said, the camera does have its purposes but I'm not a buyer.

BTW, have you seen the list price on that Fuji 14-35mm lens the BSC is pictured with?
