Blackmagic Design NAB Announcements

I'll be very interested to see how it works. At this point, Resolve is utterly indispensable to my post-workflow. But moving my edits between FCPX and Resolve is constantly fraught with delays, complications and frustrations. If I could do it all in one program - that really would be revolutionary... particularly if Davinci's tracking system can be used for compositing elements into the edit.

Yeah, it's when you find out you can see a boom in several shots, when before the low-rez muddied it up enough to hide it.
 
This is really intriguing to me. You can edit in Resolve??? I've slowly been transitioning from FCP7 to Premiere CC, but wow ... Resolve for editing???

Can you export out OMF? What about multicam editing?
 
BMD… Please deliver on your current camera commitments before dangling the URSA in front of us. We still don't have 4k raw, tons FPN image problems, missing basic firmware features, etc.)

I'm still hanging onto some dwindling hope that the noise/vertical banding problems with the current 4k cam will be addressed with firmware this week… If not, they're reputation will be severely damaged in my mind. I'm having a hard time taking the new camera announcements seriously.
