Looking for the original ATEM BM switcher in good condition. A new one is $945.00 from BH so something properly priced would be very interesting.

Just an FYI, I was looking to get an ATEM as well until I saw what these guys were doing: http://www.vmix.com.au/ . I haven't tried it yet, but I should be able to put together something better than the ATEM (at least for my needs) for much cheaper.

Thanks so much for the link. I think that these folks will definitely give the Tri-Caster and perhaps some BM buyers an option. In my case I need 4 Hdmi inputs and an easily transportable setup that runs on my existing Mac Laptop. Editing is part of my needs so the gear would be serving double duty on the road.
That being said you sure have me thinking and please stay in touch when you build your system.
