Black Death

Black Death is a dark and amazing film. Starring Eddie Redmayne and Sean Bean (who does a fantastic job). The twist in the end is great, I was grinning from ear to ear. The last 5 minutes were kind of "eh" for me, but weren't quite horrible enough to ruin the film entirely.

If you like Sean Bean or medieval action/horror movies, this is the perfect match.

F**K! Too late for me. Nice spoiler dude, real slick.
Sean Bean can do no wrong in supporting roles.
I look forward to seeing this one.

OK I watched it tonight. Pretty good story, well acted, and it moved along at a good pace.

However, I cant put my finger on it but this felt very 'made-for-tv' in some way or another. Maybe it looked very video-ish, or the sets seemed like they were cultural/museum villages decked out for the movie or something.

Anyway, an enjoyable flick which managed to be gruesome even though it never really showed the gore. The twist was good, although it wasn't such a big twist so it kept the story on track (as opposed to throwing everything off track like the twist in Fight Club or something).

Sean Bean is solid as ever, but I cant help feeling he keeps getting typecast over and over again with the same roles. But he sure plays them well.

Hope I didnt ruin it for you. It was a decent enough flick I guess.

Yeh Sean Bean is ok as an actor but Its like he doesnt get given roles where he can really freak out and do what he wants with it.
