Black and White

Hi all,

I shoot an improv troupe w/ the DVX. Our performances are videos on the fly, and we need to use as many in-camera fx as possible.
Is there a way to do in-camera black and white with the DVX? I've been messing w/ settings, but I can't seem to figure it out. Am I retarded?
Also, any other fun in-camera fx/color schemes that you guys can suggest would be most appreciated.

You can't record black and white in camera. That's something you have to do in post.

Barry Green gives a lot of cool color FX settings in his DVX Book/DVD.
 
Maybe you already know, but you can set the viewfinder to display only black and white. That will help as a reference for contrast when you're shooting and then you won't have any nasty surprises in the edit bay when you take all the color out.
