black and white short help?

Hey, I'm filming a black and white short in the next week using a dvx100b. IS there anything anyone can suggest for settings and such that would help me in shooting this thing? Im pretty sure it can't shoot on any bw mode but the viewfinder seems to see things in b&w. Is the eye peice of this camera made to be black and white viewing? Maybe this will help me see how things will look while shooting. Anything anyone has to offer would help. Thanks!

cmon guys, what do I do?!

I need an answer to this post - Cmon, someone out there must have some answers to this query!

you can make the viewfinder black and white or colour through menu.
the camera cant record in black and white but just about every single editing program can do it. im no expert at all but i think reducing the master pedestal down a bit might help to make the blacks blacker not milky.

shoot with the Chroma level all the way down, it will help reduce the chroma noise, and use Norm Color matrix. again to minimize color grain. Video Noise however is somewhat desireable, because the video begins to look natural. but chroma noise is very electronic looking. it just looks big bloby, and not good.
