Black and white grabs

I did some test for an upcoming project that will be b&w.
All was shoot in available lights.
The grab with the street has +6 gain
Obviusly was color correct (avid)

Those look really nice (I am a sucker for B&W, BTW). Where is the location? The second shot reminds me old town Prague (which it obviously isn't)

looks like the car on the left in the 2nd picture hit a tree and is stuck

The 1st two look like establishing shots for a Private Detective Film-Noir movie...

What is the project?

It´s Madrid. I wouldn´t mind if its prague, cause i am looking for kafka noir style.
It´s the test for some exteriors scene which i won´t have any light except available. All the story ocurrs at night.
I am a little afraid with the exteriors versus the interiors (which would be properly lightin)
I guess I will have to put some grain in the interiors to match the exteriors
I think i could take the gain out of the second grab. When i shoot it i thought it was needed. Not now.
I will be posting next test and hopefully soon the short.

These are great. Nice use of contrast (which I think is key to any image). Looks creepy (or that just me thinking vampires)

The lamp is my FAV!

The last shot is absolutely exquisite, it has the look of the French mockumentary "Man Bites Dog", very, very nice.
